As part of this partnership with Mr. Kosho, JX is privileged to deliver many of renowned whiskies!

With an incredibly smooth mouthfeel and rich depth, this whisky is distinctive. Using only malt, without grain, achieves the pinnacle of drinkability. In pursuit of supreme smoothness, the blender meticulously refined various malts from Nikka Whisky and reorganized the blend.

Key malts include sherried Yoichi and Miyagikyo malts, along with Miyagikyo malt matured in re-made barrels. It boasts a smooth, glossy texture, a vibrant, fruity aroma, and a lingering, soft finish with the rich sweetness and complexity of robust malt.

Tasting Notes

Color: Light gold
Nose: Kinds of fruit aroma of apple and apricot, alongside sweet, soft oaky notes reminiscent of toast and vanilla
Palate: Fruity hints of banana and navel orange, balanced with robust maltiness and subtle peatiness.
Finish: The sweet yet slightly bitter aftertaste, akin to dark chocolate, is accompanied by gentle oak and peat aromas, providing a pleasant continuation

Mr. Kosho has been indispensable in introducing Japan's finest alcohol to Singapore and has garnered acclaim at esteemed competitions.

With meticulous attention to quality, he personally tastes every alcohol he imports, leveraging his connections to directly request breweries to bring them to Singapore.

Japanese breweries are famously selective, but Mr. Kosho's expertise and dedication has made him a trusted partner, which allows him to leverage his networks to bring in the best of Japan’s alcoholic offerings to Singapore as an official distributor.

His accolades include honors from prestigious organizations like the Japan Bartenders Association and the World Bartenders Association. Additionally, until 2005, he served as the Deputy Director of External Affairs for the Kanto Branch of the Japan Sommelier Association.
