It is located in Tanna city, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The Tanna Basin is a small basin with a circumference of 4km and an elevation of 250m.

There is not a single traffic light in the Tanna Basin, and the area is full of nature. 10 dairy farms and about 1,00 Ten dairy farms and about 1,000 head of cows live in the area.
