Textured but Smooth Red Bean Butter Jam
It's a wagashi (Japanese traditional sweet-like) homemade spread made with carefully selected high-quality, additive-free ingredients and mellow fermented butter.
It is made from high-quality Hokkaido Tokachi red beans, delicately cooked from the beans and beet sugar, with just the right amount of sweetness, rich in butter flavor, and smooth on the palate!
Retaining the texture of the beans, but providing a smooth mouthfeel
The sweetness brings out the deliciousness of the ingredients, and you can also savor the rich flavor of butter!
It is a perfect combination of azuki and butter so that the simple taste of red beans can be fully appreciated. It is a perfect match with toast!
It uses no coloring, flavoring, preservatives, or thickening agents are added,
It is safe for everyone to enjoy.
With a focus on simple yet refined
Their concept is "simple yet refined," and they prioritize the ingredients, production methods, and safety of their premium products.
Because they value simplicity, they focus on high-quality ingredients sourced from their long-established store's market knowledge and experience.
They visit contract farmers throughout Japan to establish personal relationships and use only trusted, high-quality ingredients without adding any artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or thickeners (such as gelatins or pectins), resulting in a low-sugar product.
Their jams are cooked down to achieve their viscosity, resulting in a slightly "looser" finish, but each jar is packed with a plethora of ingredients, creating a very rich and fresh flavor. They aim to deliver deliciousness and excitement to your dining table with their incredibly rich and fresh jams.
How to enjoy
It has a smooth texture that is easy to spread, yet it still has a grainy texture of the red beans. It tastes fantastic when you simply spread it on toast.
It's not too sweet, and when combined with the flavor of fermented butter, it's irresistible.

Story of Sen Sou
It begins with the establishment of a fruit merchant called "Kanete" in Kizu, Osaka by our founder, Tei Nishitsu, in 1887, during the Meiji era.
This was the same year that Tokyo saw its first electric streetlights, marking the start of a new era in Japan.
In 1974, the company moved its store to the Izumi-Kita New Town in Sakai City, Osaka, which became the foundation of the current Senso.
In 2002, the fourth generation, Hiromichi Nishitsu, became the representative director and established the original brand "Atelier Confiture," producing and selling classical jams and starting the Confiture series, which represented the company's long standing passion for fruits in a new form.
