The name "Superiore" came from the Italian word for describing excellence, fine, superior and above average, and "Toki no Choetsu" means transcendence of time in Japanese.

This Barley Shochu is the definition of fine aging with transcendence of time.
Its brewery, Beniotome brewery is trying to achieve a superior and high quality of normal shochu.

Superiore's brewing process

Rich scent yet Light tasting

Each Superiore is brewed, distilled and aged in French oak barrels for at least 10 years!
Using French oak barrel, it adds sweet vanilla aroma to the shochu. Each Superiore shochu bears the fragrance as if infused with vanilla as you drink it!

This shochu comes packaged in a wooden box as well. Best as an after-dinner drink on the rocks.

Another point is the ingredients used such as the barley and rice are all locally sourced!

So for this one of a kind barley shochu you can enjoy it after dinner with your friends or family. If not with the beautiful box that comes with it, this will be a brilliant gift too!

This is a quality barley shochu with a hint of vanilla.

What so special about the Beniotome brewery?

Founded in 1978 Fukuoka prefecture, Japan, known for its rich nature and history.
